disable HTML editor for one page only

Any ideas how to switch off loading of ckeditor for the index page? Or for any page using the defined template?



How to hack line 314 of edit.php

PHP Code:
<?php if ($HTMLEDITOR != '') { ?>
to add one more condition, ex.
if ($templatename=='selectedtemplate') or [i]if ($id=='selectedpage') [/i]
? Would it be enough to add another condition only there?
Any suggestions welcome.

Coupon Website with GetSimple CMS

Hi Team,

Greetings Smile

My name is sheena rustomji and working as freelancer mainy for wordpress projects. Recntly I come across GetSimple CMS when one of my client approached me to migrate their coupon partner website from Wordpress to GetSimple CMS.

I am very much new to GetSimple CMS and not sure how I can migrate to this wonderfl CMS system. I have reviewed some of website built using GetSimple CMS but I am unable to note down GetSimple CMS workflow.

It will be great opportunity for me to learn this whole GetSimple CMS and request everyone to help me to migrate website to Getsimple CMS.

Please refer me some documentation by sing of which I can implement functionality like most of coupon website have.

Is it possible to make HTML comments visible in the editor? Or is there any other way to use some (permanent) notes or marks in the editor that are visible for the editing person but not visible in the page?

Submenu on Editorial theme

Hi,

first of all thanks Timbow for porting this very good looking theme to GetSimple. I have a question regarding submenus: I'm not very familiar with html and php but I understand the basics. If I look into the code of template.php I see the following code in menu section:

As far I understand there is already support for submenus due to this php code. If I install the I18N Navigation plugin and echo the output of

function_exists('get_i18n_navigation') 

it returns true. So I created a subpage and hoped it would look like on the demo page, but unfortunately the subpage didn't appear. I edited the code and pasted some of the examples provided on the I18N Navigation plugin page, the submenu showed up then but it looks really crappy.

Short and sweet: Is it possible to use submenus like shown at HTML5UP Editorial demo page and if do I have missed something?

Things had been working well until late this March when the hosting company upgraded PHP on the server. Many things became broken and I have fixed the majority of them.  However, the issue at hand has me perplexed. I am new to GetSimple and also somewhat unfamiliar with PHP. (I'm a retired Oracle DBA so I'm comfortable, just not familiar.) 
What happens is this: When the client attempts to upload images (.jpg files) the process errors out. The image file actually does land on the server, but the process indicates an error and the desired end result of a link inserted on a page does not happen. The server and application specs are below and images to show the error messages as well.  I'm at my wit's end with this and need to get it working for my friend/client.
Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions! 
Please, if you wish to see anything more such as snippets of code, php files, etc. Please let me know!

Issues noticed after hosting company upgraded PHP. 
Ateempts to fix issue included various GS and related updates. 
(Virtually all GS and related areas were behind in releases.)

Hallo allerseits,

habe folgenden Fehler auf der website einer Kundin - sichtbar direkt auf der Start-Seite: "Deprecated: Methods with the same name as their class will not be constructors in a future version of PHP; I18nNavigationItem has a deprecated constructor in ...... /plugins/i18n_navigation/frontend.class.php on line 349"

Ich habe gerade das aktuelle i18n_navigation PlugIn downgeloaded und das Update gemacht, aber der Fehlertext bleibt bestehen.
Was tun?

Freue mich über schnelle Antwort.

plugin css file 403 error on fedora

Morning, hoping someone can help

I'm testing a plugin I'm in the process of making and wanted to use a css file I made.

I registered it and queued it as stated in the docs and all works fine in MS windows but on Fedora localhost I'm getting a 403 error.

I have an .htaccess file with 'Allow for all' in the plugin folder 'pageAccess' and the same again in the corresponding sub folder 'css' folder. Other plugins such as flat-blue have the same setup so what am I doing wrong?

Not able to configure full toolbar ckeditor

I am using GS3.3.5 fresh install. There is no gsconfig.php in my root of installation. Hence, I created it and put 
define('GSEDITORTOOL', 'advanced');
When i launch my page /admin will be showing me a lot of errors. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

404 error on installation

I am trying to install getsimple to a subdomain on my hosting server. I get as far as seeing the "This page is temporarily unavailable" message on the page but when I put in /admin after my ip address I get a 404 page not found error. What should I do? Thanks!!!

I changed the name of the subdomain in this post instead of using my actual subdomain.

Editor crash after upgrade from 3.3.5 to 3.3.13

My site upgrade this evening was fairly straight forward from 3.3.5 to 3.3.13.
However, as soon as a load a page to edit, the text appears a fraction of a second and then disappears, leaving a blank editor area.
My page health check is all green and I have disabled all plugins.


There is NO log file other than failedlogins.log in data/other/logs.
I switched debugging on in the gsconfig.php but that does not reveal anything.

I understand that this new version brings a upgraded editor. I disabled the HTML editor after which I do see the raw HTML. Fine for me, but not useful for the end user.

Can anyone point me in a direction to search? Much appreciated as I feel I am so close to make somebody's web site maintaining live much easier.

CAPTCHA verification after edit

Hello guys,

I've been trying to find a way to disable (temporary or completely) the CAPTCHA verification step of I'm not a robot with no luck so far.
I have search both forum and wiki but noone seemed to have a similar request.

This step occurs every time I am trying to save the changes on a page.
Have you any ideas on how to resolve this?

PS: i've added the image also as attachment because it doesn't seem to load on the post.

Spellchecker not working

According to the wiki here: http://get-simple.info/wiki/how_to:edito...spellcheck, "CKEditor comes with built-in spellchecking feature, which is deactivated by default."

When I click the spellchecker icon in the toolbar, only two options are not grayed out, Enable SCAYT and Check Spelling. Clicking on Enable SCAYT does nothing and clicking on Check Spelling opens a blank dialogue box which can only be removed by refreshing the page.

Hello Timbow or other specialist,

I like to unlock the Seascape2 header (not to be fixed ) to allow scrolling up and down together with the page.
Modifiying assets/style.css -> position: fixed doesn´t help. Where and how can it be done?

Hello everyone

for my latest GS project I'm looking for a simple plugin that allows me to put a picture, a name and a description into a form to create a new element on a page. I know that my description was really bad so I tried to visualize it:
